5th Form

Following the release of scores from December’s diagnostic combo test, most of the conversations we are having with juniors is how to move forward with creating a standardized testing plan. With our counselees, we’ve first discussed picking between the SAT and ACT based on how well that student has done on the combo test and the PSAT (and other official test scores if s/he happens to have them). What next? Choosing a test day and deciding how many tests to sit for this spring. This decision should be made in consultation with your counselor and parents, but definitely consider taking your test more than once this spring. (And definitely sign up for the optional writing/essay section on the ACT/SAT!)

“So you’ve decided to take the SAT or ACT; the next step is to decide when. From fee to deadline, here are the factors to consider when choosing a Test Day.”
